I am assuming that's what you are getting at, that in the quote of the prophecy in Heb. you think is future still?

which is the fruit of pure futurist doctrine, imo. It removes Christ from now. (and replaces Christ with proselytizing)

Yes, it is ONLY to future Israel.
We are merely INCLUDED in this future prophecy we read about to future Israel in Hebrews 8.
The verse that INCLUDES the Church in Israels' future Millennial promise is Hebrews 10:15-17.

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
Chapter 8 simply declares the promise to future Israel.(according to Jer.31)
Then chapter 10 includes the Church in their promise.

Re: Changing To Preterism from Rapture Doctrine
What a weird way of reading the bible: Not to let the bible tell you what we should believe by its directives, but have a doctrine apart from the bible, and read a verse and find out where it fits in that extra-biblical doctrine.
Phew, I finally put into words exactly what I have perceived about dispensationalism.

Kind of reminds me of something I read somewhere. Can't quite place it right now, but it goes something like this, ""Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe." lol
