Re: Happy Birthday, President Reagan
"in Saudi Arabia. They beat women there. They hang, decapitate, maim and call murder an "honor killing."
Do you really imagine that you have stones to throw? You marginalize blacks to death, and then laugh at jokes about "killing them all." You make whores of your daughters, and pimps of your sons. This childish repetition of "show me a public church there," attempting to apply our standards to a different culture, is myopic at best, and hypocritical at least. You might first remove the beam from your own eye, wadr. Heil to you.

Probably picked up, held, released next day Just like the 20 something people in the earlier article. The difference would be an additional court date unlike those people in that article.
Finished compound counting? You missed a few because there are 16 listed in Riyadh (public) and those exclude all of the private ones.

That's a fat lie. By claiming you "fixed" my post, you're claiming that you said "Christians can meet in a building provided for them in the communities where they live to do it and are never bothered doing it."
Only you never said that. Only after I exposed your dishonesty, do you now embrace what I have proven and try to falsely imply that you've been saying it all along. Until I mentioned it, you NEVER, not one time did you say what you claim above.

I've done so. Your dishonest "fix" of my comment only proves it. You outright lied in the "fix" of my post.

No, I didn't eat them and I don't regret anything I've posted. If I hadn't continued pushing the issue, the thread would have posts from you claiming Christians were free to worship "around town" as long as they didn't mix men and women.
This is an online forum, and there have been people in the past who have told incredible lies, either about themselves or others. So I have a natural tendancy to not believe most of what I read, even on here. Add to that, you being dishonest in your posts and claiming that Christians were free to live their faith "around town" and claiming the reports I read were false...of course I'm going to question if you're actually there. I still have no reason to believe what you claim. You posted pictures. Big deal. I don't know you. The only thing I know about you is you claim to be muslim and you were completely dishonest in several of your posts.
So no, I don't regret questioning anything. It's obvious you're offended by that, but I really don't care. Your being offended at my questions doesn't bother me.

You likely know this already.

Not what that article said. Article said they were arrested and follow up said they were released the next day.
You are right about that years thing tho. Good sleuthing.

Im not offended. You reposted what I said and "around town" is another adder. You said I say that - it makes you the liar not me.
You continue to make yourself look bad. You reposted what I said and it continues to stand yet you keep adding to it as if you believe that if you can somehow attach enough extra words and phrases to it you will somehow prove it untrue. Instead you validated it for me.
Report: another successful and unbothered churchservice this morning. Just as always!

I'm not trying to apply our standards to a different culture. Where did I ever try that? What I did was object to the lies and dishonesty being posted that Christians were free to worship "around town." WII tried "shupping" my mouth by mocking and posting insults; all the while continuing the false claims that Christians are free in SA and the reports I've read are lies.
I never tried to "apply our standards to a different culture." That's insane.

I will not intrude on the privacy of these people to satisfy your curiosity without their permission. I tried to advise you what to do.
In the case that was brought up from September, the group was held overnight and released.
http://www.aleteia.org/en/religion/a...83673358368768
The 28 Christians who were arrested in Saudi Arabia for worshiping in a private home have been released, according to information obtained by the organization International Christian Concern.
“It was reported to ICC that 27 of the group were held overnight and then released the next day (Saturday),” Todd Daniels, the religious freedom group’s Middle East manager, told Aleteia today. “One of the men, a leader of the group, was held until Sunday morning. ICC was told that the explanation for that was that a sponsor for his visa was out of the country and had to be consulted before he was released.”
The Saudi Gazette, basing its article on Alsharq daily of Qatar, reported that officers of the “Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice” (known as the Haia) responded to a resident’s report of “suspicious activities” in a house in the city of Khafji. The tip alleged that an Indian man had turned his residence into a church. Authorities surveilled the house and finally raided it on Sept. 5, arresting men, women and children. They also seized copies of the Bible and various musical instruments.
Daniels said the persons arrested were largely expatriate workers from South Asia. “They have met regularly for quite some time without serious incident,” he said.
“They have met regularly for quite some time". hmmmm. Not my words, but my observations. Seems Zeep might have a good source.
In Saudi Arabia this is the law. WE all follow it. Saudis follow it. Everybody follows it. Unrelated men, and women, do not mix. Even in the mosques in the US the women have their section, men have theirs. If you go to a restaurant here they are divided into two sections - singles, where unaccompanied men have to go, and family, where unaccompanied women and children OR men with their families have to go. There is no mixing. Women cannot go into the singles section and men only cannot go to the family section.
Today, when I go to the Mosque I probably will not see a single female. We attend, we listen, we pray, and we go home. IF I walk alone into Little Caesars afterwards and I sit in the family section the SAME Muttawa who arrested these people will arrest me also.
This is the problem with christians. You want to flaunt the laws here under the guise of "freedom of religion" so first you violate these laws, get picked up, then announce your persecution for it all over the world. If I violate them and get picked up, just for eating dinner in the wrong section of a restaurant, the same people who cry foul because they want to have mixed meetings to "practice their religious freedoms"will in turn declare "why should we care - if you are in another country you have to follow their laws".
Somebody got tired of seeing people doing what even they cannot legally do - and reported it. Nobody got beaten, caned, lashed, imprisoned, or harmed over it. A group of unrelated Saudis would be treated EXACTLY the same way. So don't get on here complaining that a group of people who violated both local law and local culture got dinged for it because of "religious persecution". They got dinged because a bunch of unrelated men and women got together and were making a lot of noise.
The best way to have church is to arrange the meeting exactly like the arrangements are made at the jillion Masjids around town OR accept the risk that if you want to do your own thing and flaunt the laws here you can get picked up for it. See if you can get Fox News to report the release and the real reason they got picked up in the first place? No? Alrighty then.
With that said I will try to get you some pictures.

Yet another lie. Above is your full post. I did NOT add or edit your post. YOU wrote it, not me.

perhaps you might address your own reality for a moment, rather than addressing vaporous links slurring the "other side," like the Media expects you to do.

I know when I watch the news, I like to get it from Russian state-funded media.
