A Rebbe has two generally accepted meanings. The first, which does not apply to me, is a term of endearment for a Yeshiva (formal Jewish theological university) ordained Rabbi. The second meaning can be applied to a Bible teacher or scholar who may not have a traditional Jewish (Yeshiva) ordination.
I hesitated in adding that term to my profile because it was only two years ago that after 35 some years of study and teaching, I took upon myself, without the consent of any other living person or organization, the title of 'Serious Student of the Word'.
Or, I like this new tag better.
