"Studied at" usually means either I didn't complete the course of study or I studied something specific, in Bernard's case I believe Greek. Either way there is nothing measurable about it.

I think you're a great guy, and have enjoyed our past conversations. However, I must say that you seem to have developed quite an elitist attitude since you graduated from college. It's as if no one could possibly match your hard work and brilliance. You seem to feel absolutely everyone in Pentecost is an unlearned idiot. It's sad to see you go this route.

DKB has a proven educational background of excellence. These petty attempts to discredit him are easy to see through. You think you're more intelligent than he is.

I'm not sure why your post is an attack against Baron. Do you really think this has something to with Baron's "elitist" mentality? Do you think LS has an elitist mentality?

Neither did I think he is calling DKB ignorant or dumb. It's exactly the opposite: because he is intelligent, why bother with these Mickey Mouse universities in other countries? You are the unofficial theologian of the UPCI, the standard bearer. It's not an attack on his intellect at all.

I don't think that's the case at all. You are working very, very hard to get your education and once you get it, I could assume that it might bother you too when there are others out there saying that have what you have without putting forth the effort.

Not addressing so much the DKB thing, but what you've said about his attitude.

This is exactly what I got out of it as well. It's just puzzling. If DKB studied at Wesley Biblical Seminary, a school that is accreditted by the Association of Theological Schools, then why not pursue his degrees there? They even have a distance learning program.

If it's all about money, I think that sends a terrible message about the importance of scholarship and the value of the educational process itself. I want to see DKB promote quality schools to those under his leadership in our movement. He has the educational "chops" to do so. I don't want to see that tarnished.

I don't think it's so much "i have a degree, and darnitt, I hate seeing people get the same degree an easier, short-cut way." I don't see that as the primary concern on these threads at all.
