I meant in the outlandish way.

If Dan was able to access it, I'm sure anybody else could? Why does it matter what page of the internet it is on? I think calling it gossiping is a HUGE stretch, but that's just me...

LOL...I think I'm just about all "politicked" out.

Oh, I totally agree.

I had seen the picture somewhere else (not on that blog), so it's everywhere.

Bottom line - - drawing attention to yourself is NOT modest
.
I don't agree. Anything of interest will draw someone's attention. A lady asked me, in line at the grocery store last night, how I kept my hair looking so healthy. I told her what I used. She liked my hair and that doesn't mean that I was immodest.

The girls displayed ankle-length dresses, unusual hair accessories, showy glasses, and, of course, the world’s fanciest hairdos. The guys were seen in vests (with and without suit coats), white shoes, and bow ties—though rarely as a combination.

I'm sorry but I don't see this as a definition of modesty but rather as a discussion of style. That appears to be the point of this paragraph. The other style elements listed would probably not be included if the goal was strictly to convey modesty.
Now, if the General Youth Division instructed the young ladies in advance to wear ankle-length skirts, I would be much more inclined to accept it as "their description of modesty".

The youth from any church in any org. know what the expected dress code is for any general meeting, just as the one step pastors know not to mention their beliefs when at one of these meetings.

I'm referencing what we are talking about in this thread - - the outlandish, the extravagant.
