If someone poses nude even if for a medical text or supposedly artistic reasons looked at long enough will cause somebody to think less than pure thoughts I would think.

I'm not saying you're wrong, because I don't know... but do you think this is also true of those in the medical profession who see nudity on a regular basis?
Not just medical texts. Also artists who want to draw the form of the human body correctly. If you want to move beyond stick figures, or comic book figures, you have to learn the structure of the human body.
Which is probably why some religions think art is sin!

I can't say for others but I would not personally want to be looking at a nude woman trying to draw her.

I think porn is different than art or medicine. Some people think that the reason we think of the uncovered human body as sexual is because we make it that way. For example, some muslims think a woman's ankle showing is sexual. This may be somewhat true, but I honestly don't know where to draw the lines on this. No pun intended.
