We do assume that we are dealing with adults here.

I read the post, and could see how it could be taken as a farewell post. If I had read it first before reading here I would have probably taken it that way too. But the man that wrote it stated plainly after a few questioned it that it was not meant to be taken that way, but was supposed to be taken that no matter what occurred he would stand for what he believed to be right. I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I am not privy to what goes on behind the scenes, as I am only a lowly peon there. So I can only say what is in the open.

And then there is a lack of reading comprehension and there is not being willing to accept a man's word as to his intent. Especially when the explanation made perfect sense if folks properly read the beginning of the post.

Oh, well....

I just think we should stay away from the "Lie" line. It's too hurtful and hard to repair if something is misread or mistaken. I understand strongly disagreeing/debating. But if emotions are flaring then taking it to PM would be better.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

What does Paul Mooney have to do with it?
