Too bad you couldn't have refinanced at a lower rate before all this took place.
Well, you could always just stop making the payments and let the government bail you out!
See - - what does that move tell people that actually think like that. They will do exactly that. Sad.
That is true. My question is still - what can they do after they gave the houses to them? Kick them out in the street? How can a person lose their home that were hoodwinked by the lenders? It's almost the only solution, unless someone knows something better. I'm not that far into seeing a better option for these people.
You do have a point. But I still rest on the fact that 54% of the people trust McCain on National Security and they don't actually not trust him to turn this country around. I'm more optimistic and will not concede until the last vote is counted and the fraud by ACORN exposed. LOL!
Will that last vote include the fraudulent ACORN votes?

PO, it is time to fall back to the last line of defense. The Bradly effect.

well, this is cras but those folks lived somewhere before they bought the house they couldnt afford. they might have to move back there.
The fed should be buying these assets at 30 cents on the dollar. then once it shakes out reselling them back into the market at 30 plus cents on the dollar.
only about 6% of these loans are acutlly defaulting. They are likely to have to do something. like refinancing the bad ARMS to low fixed rate mortgages.
now I think in some instances, doing a refi on some of these might actually bring the value of the assets (that would be a package of a bunch of loans together) back up. without acutally costing anything in real dollars, but Im not an economist.
Then you get into riots and theft. You can't force them out now.
On the last part of your post - it seems that McCain's idea is the same as yours. He didn't elaborate, but I think that was the bailout talk.
That's what I meant. I read this morning that an ACORN office in Nevada was raided.
Yes, I posted that yesterday - - hopefully, they are ON to their no good doings! However, there still is Ohio and lord knows where else to worry about.

Here's something interesting that I read this morning.
Before everyone succumbs to a terminal case of inevitabilititis, it's worth remembering we've been here before. In the last months of the primary campaign, the press kept assuring Hillary fans that Obama's victory was inevitable and the shriller the media Obamaboppers got, the more bluecollar Dems sat on their hands. In the end all the King's horses and all the King's men had to drag the guy across the finish line. You couldn't replay his spectacular victory in slow-motion because it was already slower than any slo-mo technology ever invented.
So we already know there's a huge disconnect between the unstoppable Messianic force promoted by the media and the cooler appraisal by actual voters.
Yet Obama still can't open up a solid lead. After all, why would record numbers of viewers watch the vice-presidential debate if the election's already over?
I just hope that the American people don't give up and just stay home and not vote.
With the polls pushing his "great" lead, which if it were the other way around they'd say a slight lead and the confusion on the economy it may cause some to say "what's the need to even go vote."
