Were all 3,000 on the day of Pentecost who were added to the Church baptized immediately? I'd say, probably not, just out of feasibility.
Were those that were added not saved?
If not, why were they mentioned?

well if you had all 11 remaining disciples baptizing them it would be around 272 each so if they worked fast they could do it. Or if they did not adhere to only "preachers" being able to baptize then maybe all 120 that had been gathered could baptize and then it would be around 25 each so that would really be easy to accomplish.

Be careful Rico, PP might accuse you of being critical like he did me.

I don't really care what Haman has to say. Latinos and black folks do not believe a clean shaven man is effeminate as part of their culture. That has to be one of the most idiotic, ridiculous, preposterous absurdities I've ever heard of. People would be better suited worrying about their own cultures instead of thinking they can speak out of turn about others'.

My pastor allowed a black woman to preach. This was in the 60's. And I was healed of epilepsy during that revival, Praise the Lord!!!!

Well, I am asking some of my black friends today what they have to say about it. Because I had never heard about it before last night. Maybe it's just told that way among church folks.

Among the Latinos, having a mustache is a sign of masculinity, but it isn't a required sign. Nor does the lack of one amount to a sign of femininity. My understanding among the AA community is that having a mustache has a lot to do with problems with ingrown hair and painful razor bumps. Whatever the reason in the AA community, I have never heard the lack of one is seen as being effeminate, and I have lived in more than one black community.

Maybe so, I have been more exposed to the black culture than the Latino. Although one of my daughters is dating an Hispanic young man. He is clean shaven BTW. He seems very masculine.

I refuse to argue the point with anyone since there are plenty of churches one can go to where facial hair is allowed in leadership my advice is that if it is an issue for one to go there.

Simple question for you if you don't mind:
If Jesus came to your church, with his beard, would you let him preach for you? Or would he be banned from ministry, since his beard goes against the "better, cleaner, more wholesome image" you're referring to?

(Any other pastors with a "no facial hair" policy are free to answer the question also.)
