Monkeyman I was only responding to the portion I highlighted. Not the entire post. The rest of the post is garbage. The point I highlighted is the only portion I addressed. The rest would have been picked up by you and/or others.

Again, my comment is only in regards to the portion I highlighted. Anyone who has read any comments I have about KH knows I have the nothing but good things to say about him.

Sounds like you are a sower of discord. Unless you have already turned your card in.

It is an easy outward view so the pastor can know who is following me...
It is not about who is following God.
That is the reason for the pulpit standards.
If you go to movies, cut your hair, have a TV etc then you can't sing in the choir.
Because you have shown outwardly that you do not respect my standards...
What it does is make sinners out of many.
Because they still do have a TV, go to movies and the woman trim their hair...
I went to a church for 30 years..
I heard my wife and her friends growing up...
100% of them including the pastor's kids and grandkids all thrimmed their hair..
It was just like the Clinton military policy don't ask - don't tell....
Those are not the standards that we need to force ourselves to do so we can feel closer to God.
You might want to start by picking up the phone and helping out someone in need...
That person in need is not in need of seeing how long you can go without cutting your hair if you are a woman......................

paul said " be ye followers of me,even as i also am of christ" and to think paul said this right before he talked about the cutting of hair, as to what you call a standard . i call this doctrine. and for you that dont agree with standards read gen. 2:17 and then gen. 3:3 and you will find the first standard.
