The jury is taking this more seriously than just emotion, IMO. Catching up, but as you heard they wanted an Index of the evidence. That's a good sign, IMO. At least, we know they are not going for emotional. So, they listened to O'Mara.

One thing that really struck me as important to the Defense was the 4 minute quiet pause O'Mara instructed in order for Jury to get a feel of the time TM had to get home, but he didn't go home.

Went on to explain an athlete breaking a 4 minute record.

That was my first thought as well... They are looking at the evidence. That's great for the Defense/GZ.

I agree -- very powerful. I wish the Defense had the last word. It is, after all, GZ's life on the line here and he who has to defend himself against any allegations. I understand it's the State's burden, blah, blah, blah; but I fear many people just don't get that. I'm basing that on the outrageous and absurd comments I've read online about people thinking GZ deserves to go down because he shouldn't have been carrying a gun, he should be punished for gunning down a "kid," he should go to prison for "not listening to the 'police' when they told him to stay in his vehicle," etc., etc. CRAZY! It seems that it's almost never "innocent until proven guilty." O'Mara was right in calling this a "bizzaro case."

Oh well... it is what it is. We'll just have to hope that justice prevails!

I agree! I hope that justice prevails.

I am at the part where O'Mara is bringing up points from the witnesses. Very good points where the jury may have been concerned and need to hear a little of that one more time.

LOL.....2 are gained up on Nancy Grace tonight it is Awsome.....one of the guys was Pro Trayvon before the case,now he is Pro Zim...that is awsome...but better then that 2 are gained up on Nancy Grace...

I can't stand listening to her. LOL! Good I am glad she got ganged up on.

Just finished up with O'Mara. Beginning Guy's closing remarks. I expect some real soap opera acting from him.

After listening to Guy's closing arguments, I think he made some good points that would certainly cause the Jury to pause. But, I also think that they will remember and reflect on the 4 minutes of silence, realizing that TM didn't go home.

My only concern is that the longer they deliberate, we could be looking at manslaughter.

PO...lol... I look at it like this my wife and her mom can not come to an agreement in the kitchen when getting ready to cook something and thats only 2 women..There is no way a 6 women Jury will come to the same opinion together so the longer it takes the better that just means they can't come to an agreement and George walks........lol

I believe that more than I do manslaughter, but you never know with juries. We've followed all points and commentary throughout this trial. The jury hasn't, so they may be seeing something I can't quite put my finger on. But, something is bothering me. I can't quite figure it out right this moment.

It may simply be that I fear "emotion" is going to be involved to some degree. It may also be that I am still upset over how badly this case has been handled from day one.
