Christmas is fine.

You were not supposed to have friends outside your family, unless it was just for church type functions...absolutely insane...the Bible says to touch not mine anointed...well, thes people are not anointed~So I don't care what I say!

Yes, I have heard of pastors not allowing members to go to college- they will backslide was the reasoning.

I've seen kids backslide in BIBLE SCHOOL ! lol

then again, there are pastor's that don't allow bible Sch. either

Right, that was the reasoning.

The Pastor's son backslid while in college.

I have seen people backslide that never went to any college. When I was in youth ministry I had kid that backslid going to high school.

Carey I don't even know how you folks made it thru such abuse. I'm glad you hung in there and didn't let bitterness get in your heart. I know a lot of people that are wounded for life. I know there are people here who will say "just get over it" but when you internalize these rules to the point that they become your salvation, it's not that easy to just shake off for some

well, ALL of you hang in there and know that the Majority of the church world is against this and for you!

These type of leaders are not worth dying spiritually for !

Pretty sure. King left awhile ago and Glover took it over. Also, Kings nephew is one of my bestfriends and he was on staff there a while. I guess King went to somewhere in Indiana.
