It is not a secret agenda they are meeting to form a group. I doubt if they have a card burning ceremony.

I think you are off base here. There are some whiners like Wholehearted who seem to take great joy in complaining about the UPC but overall I have a feeling that this meeting is very much one about conviction and deeply held beliefs.

The men who are putting on this meeting are all mature seasoned men who I think are not interested in starting a "Bash the UPC Club".

I don't think you are going to see the venom and bitterness that occurred when the AMF was formed.

My biggest question is how long after organizing will it take them to begin taking potshots at themselves! The conservatives tend to think that only their particular brand of "holiness" is the right one and they each believe a little differently on some things many times.

Now you ruined it... as soon as you make a direct comparison, then I have to face two things:

1. Someone will have to point out the "law" about using those analogies
2. Someone else will say that this is uncalled for and should not be tolerated and they are leaving the forum unless something is done about it

I will say that this was the very first thing that came to my mind when I read the title though. Did you see the original name that was intended for the book (I added it to my post above)?

I think all of the so called LIBS should show up and join this alliance. It would be interesting to see what happened then. I cant wait for a year from now to see all of the in fighting within this alliance.
