Good thought.

You might call it ORGANIZATION. In this case, organized ostracism. Can you imagine what it would be like when leaders tell their followers who to ostracise

I figured I'd be tame ... as not to arise any suspicion among the ex-UPCIer bashers and haters.

Why doesn't Home Missions snatch them up and plant churches?

Perhaps they were taught as I was that you are not suppose to ask for promotion, it will just come when the Lord is ready......

Or their Pastor likes having a large stable of ministers and will not try and get them to venture out into service.......

Would you want one of them to be your pastor?

I've heard of being on somebody's --------list.
Would this establish an official list of undesirables?
Would it be printed out, distributed, and updated periodically, or would it be maintained up-to-date online?

I think I've read in enough places that this resolution is doubful to pass. No one wants big-brother to have this much power.
This gets my nomination for silly post of the day. Kudos to you for plumbing new depths!

Bro
I said there was "clearcut evidence" including the testimony of his illicit partner.
Here's the problem - once the man drops his card - he may have been caught on video in bed with a man - once he no longer has a card the investigation stops. He did not lose his card he turned it in.
Let me ask you, does that call for repentance?
I'm not talking about the guy who has a fight with a presbyter.

It think what you are describing here is a man in sin...which would put him in the category of "unbecoming conduct" as opposed to "under question". Which is exactly why the resolution is being voted on....to clarify the categories of being put out and red flagged....

Most do not understand that being "under question" doesn't mean the minister is in moral sin..."unbecoming behavior" does.

At least I think that is what this resolution is trying to clear up.
