Sounds straight from the Bible to me.

She voted for ISSUES that, in her opinion, align with the bible.
She also voted for DeSantis and lists why.

President Trump was RIGHT when he said Gillum was a "dream" candidate to oppose.

DeSantis should win the Governorship of Florida by a big margin. However, I do wish he hadn't use the monkey word to refer to voting for Gillum.

It was so unnecessary-- but I think he did it to set himself up as a victim, to gain sympathy from Republican voters for another Republican who has been victimized by the PC "in-crowd".

He's a victim and now Republicans must rally to save their candidate...

I hope Gillum does not win:

Gillum supports the replacement of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement with the U.S. Department of Justice. He seeks to expand Medicaid to cover "...700,000 people, who right now don't have access to health care". He supports the removal of Confederate monuments. Gillum wants to raise the corporate tax rate to 7.75 percent, up from the current 5.5 percent, which he said would generate $1 billion in revenue which would be used on education funding. Gillum supports a $15 minimum wage. He is endorsed by Bernie Sanders and has received financial support from Tom Steyer and George Soros. Gillum has called for the impeachment of Donald Trump. Gillum opposes Florida's Stand-your-ground law and wants the voting rights of felons restored.

Re: BY THIS STANDARD-Greg L. Bahnsen

I've never looked into it, but why aren't felons allowed to vote?

Is it Constitutional to deny voting rights to felons?
Are they tax exempt?
If not, isn't taxation without representation a thing that got under the skin of our Founding Fathers?
And if they've done their time, they've paid their debt to society, right?

I've never examined this issue. I'm on my phone right now. I might look it up if I have time.

Generally it is my understanding that a convicted felon cannot legally vote or own a gun or be in possession of a gun. I believe that is the case in general. After a certain length of time AFTER getting off of probation, it is possible in some cases to have your rights restored, or so I have heard, you know from a “friend” who is more knowledgeable of such matters than I am. I’m sure this may vary from place to place and under different circumstances.

Re: BY THIS STANDARD-Greg L. Bahnsen

This form literal legalism is painfully incorrect and is nothing more than modern day Judaizers. This literal interpretation is when one uses English denotation in place of Greek connotation to create their doctrinal construct. When examining the usage of fulfill and fulfilled in these two verses; Christ is not referring to progression, rather He is proclaiming the law coming to a completion. To believe that Christ did not fulfill the law on the cross is blasphemy.

Matthew 5: 17 (KJV) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Strong's G4137 plēróō,; from G4134; to make replete, satisfy, execute, finish, verify, accomplish, complete, end, expire, fulfil, full, perfect.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Strong's G1096 gínomai; a prolongation and middle voice form of a primary verb; to cause to be, to become (come into being),

The Judaizers where the thorn in the side of Paul and are still alive and well today. We know the Old Testament pointed us to Christ accomplishing that which mankind could not accomplish. All of the types and shadows were given as an example. To learn from our own mistakes is intelligent, but to learn from other people’s mistakes is wisdom.

Galatians 3:24 (KJV) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Hebrews chapter eight really speaks to the differentiation of the old and new covenants. The first covenant led men by precepts written in stone which is similitude of our physical existence. Whereas the new covenant of the laws written in our hearts and mind represents the spiritual presence of Christ forming in the believer.

Hebrews 8:9 (KJV) Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Scriptures are bread to our souls, but the Holyghost gives us power to overcome the flesh through faith. By my Spirit saith the Lord is faith that we will overcome by the leading of the Holyghost.

2 Corinthians 3:3 (KJV) Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Christ taught us that we would be known by our fervent Love for our Creator and Savior. And the Love for our neighbor as ourselves. Love trumps Legalism. The love of Christ in our heats is what separates us from the world. Christ proclaimed that ALL THE LAW is fulfilled when we truly Love our Heavenly Father and Neighbors.

Mat 22:37 (KJV) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The New Covenant of the Spirit is a higher calling than the covenant of the flesh. As our Heavenly Father's children we avoid the works of the flesh and sow to the spirit. You can be guided by the old covenant of the flesh, but I choose to be led by the Holyghost. The Just shall live by faith! When one is born again we have freedom to pursue Holiness and Love in Christ.

Galatians 5:18 (KJV) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

DeSantis is an idiot for speaking without thinking, but his opponent is too dangerous for our Country, his ideas will soon make Florida worse than California.

So indeed this is a matter of voting for an Idiot or voting for a socialist, I think America will be better off with the Idiot.
