Wow. Last night I was looking through FB and saw a friend had "liked" what appeared to be a statement from Trump. It had Trump's photo in the avatar, along with the name, Donald Trump.
Unfortunately, I was duped. It was a community fan page, not the real FB page for Donald J. Trump.
The alleged statement on that page was actually claimed by several comments to be attributed to Mike Huckabee, not Trump.
So it appears The Donald has still not commented on Kim Davis' arrest and jailing.

A friend shared Donald Trump's comment about KD last night:
Having Kim Davis in federal custody removes all doubt of the criminalization of Christianity in our country. We must defend religious liberty and never surrender to judicial tyranny. Five, unelected Supreme Court lawyers did not and cannot make law. They can only make rulings. The Supreme Court is not the Supreme branch and it's certainly not the Supreme Being.
I am proud of Kim for standing strong for her beliefs. Who will be next? Pastors? Photographers? Caterers? Florists? This is a reckless, appalling, out-of-control decision that undermines the Constitution of the United States and our fundamental right to religious liberty!!!!

I didn't see this before I shared the other thing. It appears that may actually be what I quoted. I found it rather odd. I would think Trump would not care as it does not concern him in any way.

This morning the Lord brought this song to my mind and then reminded me of an incident with Billy Cole sharing a time when he was supposed to be awarded some honor and it was given to a man who had done much harm to him.
He said he dropped the phone and yelled, "There is no justice!"
He went on to share that is wife opened the Bible and began to read Habakkuk 3 to him over and over and over again.
I focus on this portion:
3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
I've read comments online that this woman, Kim Davis, "Is very strong in her faith. We need to stand with her."

The only candidate running on "religious liberty" is Senator Ted Cruz.
