I don't know this brother and I'm not condemning him.
But if one joins a fellowship wheter it be UPCI,The Church Of Jesus Christ or whatever ,one should do what the manual says ,or at least to me I think you should.
If I signed a AS I would abide by it.

Isn't this the issue that prompted the AS?

I have not read much on this, but find it interesting that those who have chimed in on this thread against this activity are those also seeking affirmation of Television in Preacher's Homes.

Rhoni, I have been in a UPC home since I left high school in 1981. I have never owned a TV, and never had one in my home. In fact after my Father died, my Grandmother would not stay with me over TV.

I cannot say I ever miss it either from the last 20 mins I did watch at my Mom's a few years ago. Disgusting to think someone would sign an AS and then openly lie like this. Be a man, take a stand and simply turn in your card if you have to have this junk in your home.

When I first read the title of this thread I thought for sure a TEXAS man had bought a TV and the judgement of God sent a tornado his way!

Wrong again, sir. I don't have a tuner installed.

Again- odd that you, who stated you grew up with TV in a minister's home keep calling for blood here.

Here my 2 cents for what it is worth , if I were to apply for UPCI credentials I wouldn't one have a tv for principles sake or if I had a UPCI license I won't own a tv.
My view is that any form of media must be handled responsibly ,if one can't control any form of media they don't need it.
