One Less Anti-TV vote? WD Presybter leaves UPC?

TV is worthless, it is less than worthless.The broadcasts that come from hollywierd are pure and simple sin-marketing. By watching television you are exposing yourself, and your family, to sin marketers. And they are real. REAL good at marketing sin.

They use the internet to. I looked at a web page this morning that had on one side the tragedy we all know about at VT, and on the other an ad for female sex clothes.

We have all been duped by the world. And we just play along like nothings different.

So. Me, I am not bound by the ole' code of silence.

A couple of years ago I built a web page for a preacher,a few days later he phoned me and said "Take it off, if they find out I have a web site they will crucify me" ("they" being his organization)

He was AMF. To my AMF brethren I ask one thing, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE INTERNET?"

Looking at bad TV is sin. If you watch and take pleasure in inacted sin, you are guilty of it. Yeah, that means if you enjoy murder or fornication on TV God sees you as a murderer and a fornicator or adulterer. That's Bible.

If you sit on your pharisaical high horse and tell me I can't tell the sinners watching TV or the internet the gospel?


Go jump in a lake, I'll do it anyhow, I don't belong to the club, and am not subject to the rules.

don't have a bad spirit in this, I am just a CONSERVATIVE brother who is frustrated by inconsistency, and determined that my voice will be heard, even if it is on TV.

When are we gonna fess up and just be real...

The anti-television argument doesn't make any sense to me. The same printing equipment that produces a Bible can be used to print vile pornography - does that mean we should destroy the printing equipment? Not teach our children to read since that could lead to Penthouse? I can control my television viewing the same way I control what I read.

Well Im not the one that is arguing there is a slippery slope. Im pointing out the slippery slope argument was used for years in regards to Video....if THAT is TRUE....if that argument is true and video WILL lead to all this other stuff, then I repeat there is NOTHING you can do to stop it. Yet you insist on trying which suggests even you don't buy your own argument.

Advertising on TV does NOT automatically mean other things WILL follow. They might follow but then again they might follow anyways.
