What about those who came out of the ground in MATT.27:52 after Jesus gave up the ghost ?
Also at the final appearance of Christ,it talks about the saints coming with Him in the word.
Are not those who die in Christ,present with Christ now in some form ?

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. MATT 27:52-53

States many came out of the grave, just like Lazarus, and several others in the bible. But what doesn't it say?

Immortal bodies, Incorruptable bodies? Nope no mention.

What does jesus say himself say when we receive immortal, incorruptable bodies?

Paradise is located in the third Heaven
2 Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago,(whether in the body,I can not tell;or whether out of the body,I cannot tell:God knowethsuch an one caught up to THE THIRD HEAVEN.
2 Corinthians 12:3 And I knew such a man,(whether in the body,or out of the body,I cannot tell:God knoweth
2 Corinthians 12:4 How that he was caught up into PARADISE,and heard unspeakable words,which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

JESUS DYING PRIOR TO THE THIEF?
Jerusalem have 12 hour days.The thieves legs were broken and removed from the cross so they could be taken away.There is no scripture stating the thief lived another day after Jesus.You do not know if he even lived another hour after being removed from the cross.
John 19:31 The Jews therefore,because it was the preparation,that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day,(for that sabbath day was an high day,)besought Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away.
As far as Jesus being in the tomb for three days,he was but his spirit descended into Sheol and preached to the spirits that were being held in prison,so they might could hear the gospel.
1 Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.

The saints walking the streets of Jerusalem are in Paradise awaiting the day the Father says"Son go get your bride" and on that day in a twinkling of an eye,these old testament saints will receive their glorified bodies.

Now there are some who have been taught or came to believe in soul-sleep because of scripture in the Old Testament and "Asleep In Christ",the play on words here can be confusing.The physcial body dies,returning back to dust.The Spirit of man leaves the physcial body and returns back to God who gave it.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from,and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

When man dies and his spirit returns to God,this spirit will find itself in Paradise or Hell.Of course if one dies a child of God then we say"This person is asleep in Christ" meaning the physcial body is planted into the ground(Awaiting the resurrection,awaiting to get their glorified body) and the person's spirit is with Christ in Paradise.

Before Jesus died on the cross,all the people before the cross,of course died and the spirits of these people went into the heart of the earth.If you were an old testament saint you would have found yourself in a place called Sheol.If you were an old testament heathen then you would find yourself in the heart of the earth called Hades.Hades(FOR HEATHENS) Sheol(FOR SAINTS) were seperated by a great Chasm(BLUFF<BIG SPACE IN BETWEEN HADES AND SHEOL.
Jesus died went down into the heart of the earth and preached the gospel.All who believed were released(JESUS NOW HAS THE KEYS TO DEATH AND HELL) and that is when the saints of many were seen walking the streets of Jerusalem.
