But here's a hypothetical situation:
Big freaky dude is up on a stage telling a bunch of bikers who felt to check out the Jesus stuff, that he represents an Angel that performs miracles.
One of the Bros, has the idea to jump on stage to try the tattooed man's claims out.
Well, this big large tattooed dude wines up and runs at the Biker and kicks the biker in the chest. After the big tattooed dude busts the biker in the chest with his foot, the rest of the bikers jump up and storm the stage.
The cops come and calm the place down and make arrests.
Now for the facts:
There is NO outpouring in Lakeland Revival.
None, nada, zip.
Todd Bentley was NEVER used by God, to heal anyone at the Lakeland revival.

I can name several ministers and pastors who had people come to God under their ministry while they were engaged in gross sins. Even UPC preachers.
But I'd be really careful in claiming that God would be contradicting His Word by using those people, or negating the salvation of those saved under such men.
The Bible says that ALL our righteousness is like filthy rags to God. It's not talking about the ones you dust with or wipe your car with either.
If OUR righteousness is that way to God, is TB's unrighteousness really any worse?
God uses our righteousness equatable to filthy rags to bring His Word to the lost and dying, yet we question His ability to work through unrighteous people?
The problem here in America is self. Everyone wants to be able to say "I have a ministry" and then keep track of numbers so they can be validated and grow "their ministry"...it's all about OUR ministry instead of HIS kingdom.
His word will not return void. This is the problem with people being validated. They look at numbers and "events" to validate THEM....sad sad sad. It's never about us

Did I miss something? where did the temperaments come from? So You are saying that they are excuses for people to be Un-Christlike? Well it's just too bad that we aren't all more like YOU, since you are so much like Jesus.
I am going to take my leave of this thread for a while, because I am getting very angry and I need to go pray for some people (MYSELF included)....

I left this thread for a majority of the day because it made me physically ill to continue reading about people praying for someone's downfall... that is so wrong. It doesn't matter what I think of someone or their ministry, or lack of, I would never pray for their downfall...
if I did pray that way, I would have to ask God to Humble particular people and by doing so, I would be asking for calamity in someone's life (which is WRONG), but I would also be inviting judgment into my own as well... (point one finger at someone else, 3 point back at you).

Or who tackles a chinese man who comes for prayer and belts him and knocks the guys tooth out or who claims that AFTER he was saved he manifest demons?
What is so hilarious here is that if Johny Godair had been doing that he would not get the kind of sympathy being asked for by some of this forums friends.
And heaven help the man or woman with a thimble full of spiritual discernment who says THIS GUY IS NOT OF GOD AND WE NEED TO PRAY AGAINST HIM! You can only imagine what they are letting themselves in for

Were you not around during the LS threads? What about the DV ones? I believe that discernment is important, but I also think that there are some very 'anti-christ' ways that people think of handling it on here. (such as praying for people's downfall)

What should I tell the son of this man whose tumors are shrinking everyday? (well I will say this, I am not going to do ANYTHING besides continue to pray for his family and his Dad) What would YOU do?
Tell him that God really didn't preform a miracle in his dad?

Like the one with the women laying their HAIR on the prayer requests???? Or the thinking that women who had never cut their hair had some kind of greater inherent or resident annointing than women who had cut it even though they had long stopped?
I saw those and thought that there was a good show of resistance to such malarkey. Believe me there is no excuse for that kind of rubbish, and really it needs , no let me rephrase that IT NEEDS (how can i get my letters bigger????) to be refuted and openly rebuked.
