Re: What's for Dinner Tonight?
ZERO! NADA! ZILCH! NIX!
I am into day one of a moderate to serious diverticulitis spell. The best treatment is always not eating anything at all for three or four days... To bad thebowel pain does not take away my appitite - cause I'm starving!

I am going to assume that someone discussed prevention with you... avoiding corn, nuts and seeds and any other hard small thing that might lodge in the diverticulum and cause a flare. This is one case where and ounce of prevention is truly worth a pound of cure! So sorry, hope you feel better soon! And now close your eyes...
We are having a zero mile meal... everything grown on the farm. Ribeye steaks on the grill, corn frozen last summer, fresh broccoli picked today. a cheesy potato bake with cheddar cheese I made three months ago and pudding made with fresh eggs, milk and honey from the bee hives. Yummy

So the things in RED are the items you're going to be eating for dinner? LOL

Walt and I had Red Lobster last night. We celebrated another year of a good CT Scan of his aorta. What did you have tonight? I had the create your own platter from the lunch menu - chicken strips and clam strips. Walt had the shrimp special where they made the shrimp 3 ways, including one in a pasta. He loved it.
