Tithing…Is it a command?

I'm proud to support my assembly with tithes and offerings and prayers and whatever I can give; I want it to succeed.

My Pastor and his wife spend hours each day praying for us and our city, and we can all feel His prayers. They come to us and help us if we need help.

At our ladies meeting yesterday, one of my dear sisters told my Pastor's wife.
"sometimes I go through things that are so hard, but I know that I can make it because you and Pastor are praying for me, and I can feel your prayers"

We all agreed that it is our prayers for one another that holds us up and makes us strong.

What would we do if we did not have the support of each other in my city.

Paul said in verses 13 and 14 of that same chpter that the way the Priests lived is how ministers can live of the gospel. That included tithes. Not as law, but as one way for folks to give.
