We fired a staff member once because they were using their position as a platform to get people to do things or buy things for them. It was pure manipulation and as far as I'm concerned, prostituting the ministry for gain. So we have been a little burned in this area.....thus my frustration!!

Sherry, I think prostituting the ministry for gain is pretty commonplace nowadays. ...Yet another reason why people are driven from churches or newbies don't show up as much anymore.
