I have to admit that long hair can occasionally look good on men as well.

I don't know if you are still here with the forum since I checked your profile and it said you were last here in 2014.
When I first got into an Apostolic Church, I thought the women's hair was just beautiful, so long and glossy. I was taught that a woman's hair is her glory and covering, and the length of it is always determined by the Lord as to how long it gets as it's just part of your physical makeup. A dear friend of mine who is just so sweet and devout has hair about two inches past her shoulders and that is as long as it would ever grow.
But I'm getting off the subject. If you would like your hair to grow more quickly, try typing into your search bar "Long Hair Community". There you will find a forum similar to this for ladies with or who want to have long hair. They are trading tips and advice, and much of it is very good.
The one thing that has helped me more than anything is a little gizmo called a Tangle Teezer. You can buy them usually at your local beauty supply. I lost a lot of hair to tangles and snarls until I discovered this little thing. Just wanted to pass that along.

Oh, jfrog, I'm so confused! What is it that exists, chicken poop or Tangle Teezers or young women worrying over their hair? (Believe me, I've seen all three!) I tried to give this young woman - who seems quite sincere - a little advice that she asked for. In return I got scatalogical poultry humor. What am I doing wrong?
