I've been away for awhile: just didn't like some of the repetition of arguments and positions. But i gotta say I appreciate the interaction and sincerity of everybody involved with Jack's dilemna

Having just read most of this thread and the testimonies of others I would just like to try and give a couple of thoughts. As many of us have had major changes in the way we see things in scripture, which reflect in our personal life, one thing I would say. Make sure of your faith in God. Nothing else matters.

Over the last 25 years I have gone through major changes in the way I see life and scripture. tenants of faith have changed, personal convictions have changed. The very base of my faith has changed. One thing has not changed my faith in God.

In all things keep an open heart to God and a humble spirit and all thing will work out in the end.

I am back on here after a long time away... After many changes too. Most of them have been incredibly tough to endure... Loss of friendships, loss of loved ones in general & even a great loss of faith which is beginning to be revived again. For those that know me off here you have seen these changes occuring either through FB or up close and in person. I appreciate all the prayers, well wishes & for people loving me in spite of me.

I have embarked on a new life, a new path, all with new adventures that are so scary. I look forward to these changes & challenges.

Thank you for the encouragement. Though I lost faith for a bit there was a reason I felt the way I did. It was not a great reason, but God & I spoke about it. We have worked it all out now - for the most part. I am learning to trust Him, others & most of all myself again. It's been a trecherous hike, but apparently "these boots" were made for hiking.
