KC, I see that you have been reading for a while. Sorry about the hijacking and running away with it.

I just about put my head through mine. Had it been any closer and who knows what might have happened.

I concur with this. I will discuss it with those who disagree in a friendly Christlike way. (although its acutally impossible to disagree with me in Christlike way bc Jesus is never wrong.. JK!) But I have found for those who fume and spew at the mention of standards...well, its just best not to mention it and pray. Well...i'll mention I just won't debate..lol

In the last few years things have been changing. It seems as though the Spirit is raising the standard of prayer and holiness in many circles. Yes, some are letting down, but God is raising up an army. I believe that. I have sat and talked with other young men my age, and have heard so much about a restoration of Old Time Pentecost. A desire for deeper prayer, deeper consecration, and deeper moves of God. Young men my age are being impacted by people such as Verbal Bean, James Kilgore, Andrew Urshan, G. T. Haywood. We want more! We want Old Time Pentecost! In the last couple of years I have seen tremendous things happen in our church. Saints getting rid of TV sets, wedding rings, movies and anything else that resembles the world. I've seen a burden of prayer come upon my pastor and our church so that an hour before service you can't normally go anywhere in the building without hearing someone calling on God in prayer. Gradually the annointing has increased and intensified. And our church has grown!
I went to a UPCI event the other day for the first time in probably 3 years. Now I'm not bashing or throwing stones, but I was astounded at the difference. The difference in the atmosphere, in the worship, in annointing. It wasn't Old Time Pentecost. There was no travail, no tears, no shouting. Old Time Pentecost was mocked on a couple of occasions. God has put a burden in my heart for MORE and for the REAL. For those that will seek Him, that will crave Him, I really believe He is doing something spectacular in this last hour.

Praise God!
I can testify that there is something going on in Pentecost. I'm around the same age, but I've been in Pentecost a little longer. Amongst the youth I've met since being at my current church there is an awesome desire for prayer, fasting, and consecration like I've never seen before. I've known for a long time God is raising up young last day preachers, evangelists, and saints, since he called me to preach back when I was 16.
I'm excited in my spirit. Even though we see such wicked things going in the World, when the enemy comes in like a flood the Holy Ghost will lift up a standard. That's what's been going on. I can say at our church (which is a conservative PAW church by the way) we've been seeing a massive increase in the amount of people coming out for early morning prayer especially on saturdays. People have been getting saved, the anointing has been falling, it's been wonderful. There's been a lot of young preachers that have come out of my church aged 15 to 25 that are declaring holiness like never before. There's an army being trained. I'm so excited for you, and for what's going on across the world. God is moving.

Re: Old Time Pentecost
Man one thing that I miss that we used to do was have church outside. Everyone would pick up a chair and we'd just have a full blown Holy Ghost Filled service outside.
