Aren't home churchs in houses with freezers, pantries and cupboards? They do money changer duties on e-trade in home churches. I think the auction was fun.

I find the whole "Shoe Auction" thing very weird. But then I never did like the whole celebrity thing. JMO

And it's the "Celebrity" part of this that digs at me the most. Hosting an auction in the middle of what should be sacred is difficult enough, but to find excessive value in the clothing item of someone with a significant name? It's shocking.

It reminds me of when someone grabbed the chewing gum of Britney Spears after she'd discarded it, and sold it on eBay.

I agree that the level of preacher worship is unhealthy.

Today they bid 35000.00 on the outgoing youth leaders pants except his wife wouldnt let them go, so the speaker said ok "Pants on the ground" too funny !
