I think if a perso visits with an open heart and mind and is seeking after the presence of God they will be blessed. If they come convinced that any church that does not look like theirs or act like theirs does not have the Holy Spirit at work then they will most likely think it was "dead".
In my 49+ years I have spent extensive time around and part of traditoinal Pentecostal churches and I can say that I have seen God's miraculous work in peoples lives the same in both kinds. The screamers and jumpers have no more real experience with God than those that don't.

I visited CC.
I was there the Sunday Pastor Hardwick told everyone he was stepping down. He then announced an election would be following the next week and that he was recommending the current Pastor Dan Scott.
That Sunday morning service was dead, but I realize it may have been different because of the announcement.
But even the choir seemed "not alive". Sounded great, but it did not strike me as a church where folks actively sought the presence of God, did not strike me as a church where people valued praise and worship.
I went to their Sunday evening youth service. It was a new format for their services, the first time they had a service like this.
The format was very different-- unique to all of my "church experiences" except:
I did feel the presence of the Lord,
there were others seeking and worshipping the Lord.
I left that service very excited as to what the Lord was going to to do in the lives of my now ex-girlfriend, once we moved to Nashville and joined that church.
But then we broke up before we could move in that direction.
