I love how we ignore "idiots" like Jesse Jackson and ignore 99% of the things he says...until he stumbles into something that we feel like is beneficial for our arguments...then he is credible and worthy of being quoted and paid attention to.
HA HA HA HA!!!!!
I'm rolling over here!!!!

actually I am missing a couple of names but when it comes to those that gave Barak Obama his start, that is a pretty impressive and dangerious list.
Ferd, it's no big deal but I'll try again. My point in this thread has been to answer the question posed in this thread "What Does Jesse Jackson Know That We Don't". My answer...probably not much. The fact that he is moving his mouth and assuming the right to speak for someone who he does not have an established political or personal relationship with is nothing new. He is established as someone who gets involved in things he has no business in and trying to represent people he is not authorized to represent. He has even attempted to represent all of us as American citizens in foreign affairs. How can we refuse to acknowledge his presumptive representation of us and others on the vast majority of things, but cling to this as if the fact that he is saying something means he knows what he is talking about. I see no evidence of a relationship that would make me think that he has great insight on Obama's plans...and the few times that I have heard the tru nature of his feelings about Obama it ended with his own son roundly criticizing him.

Im sorry stew, i was just being funny... that list has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.
Ive given you my feelings about Obama as it relates to both the comments of RevJJ as well as to the issue of America's stance toward both Israel and Palisine.
We agree that RevJJ by himself cant be taken as gospel on the subject.
Where we might not agree is that i believe he is saying things that match other evidence.

It is pretty well established that Jesse Jackson and Sen. Obama ARE NOT on the same page politically.
Really? First, that would be pretty hard to prove. Second, I would love to see the "well established" evidence that these tow ARE NOT on the same page politically. I would bet they are very close on most issues.

Is it America's place to "raise the quality of life" for the Mexicans?
We are.

Amazing that absolutely nothing is being said about this during the election while we play the political games and pander on the traditional hot-button topics.

Because for immigration, both of them have plans that are rather soft.
Sen. Obama's plan calls for nothing short of amnesty for all of the illegals that are here.
An idea I am patently against and I don't think will get out of Congress, even with a Democrat majority.
