Re: Did God ever command or desire praise or worsh
Moses couldn't remember from one verse to the next How long was the ark afloat?
For seven months or so.
Genesis 8:4
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
For at least ten months.
Genesis 8:5
And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen

How many days is unleavened bread to be eaten during the passover?
For six days
Deuteronomy 16:8
Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the Lord thy God.
For seven days
Deuteronomy 16:3
Seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction.
Exodus 12:15
Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread.
Exodus 23:15
Thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee.

lol. Such foolishness. The first verse merely says the ark rested on the mount...the ark was heavy. It was loaded with TONS of animals. So it rode low in the water and it literally rested on the mountain, but it wasn't until the 10th month that all the tops of the mountains PLURAL were seen and.
If you can't see the difference then the problem here isn't the Holy Spirit but your ability to read/comprehend

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Joelel, my opinion is just mine, but I think you just cannot read properly and follow context of ancient writings due to the divergence from the manner of modern writing.

JOelel,
One mountain was seen and the ark just came to rest there. Noah did not direct the ark. And later the MOUNTAIN(S) PLURAL were seen.

Joelel, Are you aware of this section in the rules of this forum?
Quote:
This discussion board is for Apostolic Pentecostal Christians who believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is the Word of God, is without error, and that it is completely relevant today. We welcome and encourage visitors of other faiths to post and ask sincere questions in their honest search to learn more of our faith and about our wonderful Lord, Savior, and God whose name is Jesus Christ. We do not, however, give place for the tearing down, the disputing of, or destruction of, Apostolic doctrine, the Apostolic ministry, or the Christian faith in any form. The propagation of any doctrine that is contrary to the Apostolic doctrine is not welcome here.

If you continue to promote the "errors" you see in the Bible, and continue to try to convince others that you are right regarding errors in the Bible, you will be banned.

Your repeated problem I see, IMHO, is making it subjective and not objective. We have to stop looking at what OTHERS FEEL, and what others say. Other people's beliefs and opinions are too much in your mind.
We must ever be mindful that GOD must correct us without worrying about what others feel is right. Otherwise, we have no faith for anything. We are comparing ourselves with ourselves, and that is not wise. A person can never get any fiath worrying like that.
It's like our home being in Newfoundland Canada for a few years where moose are so rampant, people are in accidents all the time on the highways due to their proliferation. One man I know said he did not want to even drive around due to fear of being in such an accident. I told him he'd quit driving altogether if he kept thinking that way.
We have to forget what other people think, and gather together all the Sincerity we can muster, and ask and believe God to direct. But if you worry like you have been, your faith is absent!
There is a need to see witnesses with what we believe as well. Someone else will see it the way God shows us. But we must be careful not to take in ALL the criticism we will get from people.
With all due respect, your approach to all these issues is a faith-killer. You'll never be able to believe God's word going that way.
