My daughter is getting marrying a boy from AA. His family came from AA and they said it's a mess. A number of AA members have started coming to our church. Also since this has all started the local pastor was kicked out and he has started a new church.

I don't think the whole AA is messed up. There was some shaking up and something on both sides that could have been different but I do not think it is any more messed up than any other organization.

And she found out her pastor may be one of the many pastors who are getting excommunicated. She said she never thought this would ever happen in the church.

Wow I'm just now readin on this thread and mention of this brother Solomon, its hard to believe, he is possibly the BEST preacher I've ever had the privilige to hear preach he is EXCELLENT in bi-lingual preachin, too I know both languages, I got to hear him in 1998 at GenConvention in Anaheim, CA
I have fond memories of that convention., there was one excellent speaker
after another., gives me goosebumps just rememberin.
I had even recommended by brother living in Denver to go check him out., now I wonder where he's [Solomon] at. *sigh* really sad indeed, that satans minions can "deceive even the elect"., and it has really spread far and wide, not just in any one org., the BODY OF CHRIST is made up of many saints.
Satan LOVES accusing the saints.

Re: Apostolic Assembly News-surprising footage
The chickens are coming home to roost.
This is precisely the kind of reason I no longer belong to an organization.
My last ordination expired in 2002.
For a while I wanted to go and be ordained by the UPCI, but I do not think they would have me for a member, I would probably be kicked out in a couple of years.
I not longer want to get ordained by an organization where they play political games, either people believe I am a preacher of the gospel or else they don't, a piece of paper does not make you a true minister, you either are or are not.
When I set up my first church years ago, I was free to run it as I saw fit, without interference from some far away organization.
My next church which I was supposed to set up in 2012 (I spent all of 2010-2011, two years preparing to start in 2012, huge major problem put everything on hold) will not be an organizational church either, hopefully I will be able to set it up on 2013 or 2014.

Are there any published news stories about this? If so can you post a link?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
