Re: Candle Scents - Your favorites?

I like the smell of lavender candles in the house. Makes the place feel so warm and relaxed.

I have one in this scent that is a wood wick, I love it.. I had never bought that before.. I tend to lean towards the more floral or fresh scents...

I usually hate anything that smells sweet.. but I know that a lot of people do like sweet candles. I don't really care for anything making me hungry..lol i have enough trouble keeping out of the foods without adding smell to tempt me.

i believe it! as much as I love the aroma coffee and chocolate, those are my two least favorite scents in candles.....

I am for the apple cinnamon.... or something like ...ocean breeze.....

I like just enough fragrance to where you know it's there, but nothing that is overwhelming.......

Thanks for this, LadyChocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the type of candle that I like!!! I don't know why people want their candles to "blow them out of the house".

I have a Gardenia that is so strong I have to blow it out!

When customers open the lid they want it to blow them away! That is not the type of candle that I look for.

One that I have is called Cashmere and Silk - soft, light, clean, beautiful.

I wish all of my customers were like you!!!!

There is a company that I absolutely adore, but their Fragrance oils are so high! The market, in my area, doesn't want a candle over $20. I want to break into a high-end market!

It's interesting that you like florals, Foreverblessed. Many people don't like them. I love them!

I have a Lily of the Valley that is so beautiful!

I'm looking into more of the fresh scents. That seems to be the going thing.

I went into a store that carries a country type candle - lots of food scents - strong and sickly sweet! Yuck! Not for me!

That's the affect that Lavender is supposed to have - relaxation.

I have a pure Lavender oil that I love. My husband hates it. lol
