I do take offense at a pastor, and others, glorying in drunkenness on AFF.

I wonder how many of these drinkers get up from the restaurant table, after downing a few margaritas, and drive home?

Further, why is it necessary for the drunks to brag about it on AFF?

well, I dont see what you are saying. there has been VERY STRONG oppostion to what appeared to be gratuatious boasting about drinking.

There has been quite a strong reaction against any form of drunkeness.

Even PP stated this thread was not about moderation.

Mrs Brat, explained in some detail and very rationally her view opposing consumpition but it was not over done.


AND one should also consider, that a large portion of the reaction against alcohol is based on personal experience with the substance, or with an abuser of the substance. there are good reasons why so many react in a near violent manner when the subject comes up.

If you were to say the things you have said in this thread, to my mother in person she might turn your head around. She had an alcoholic father who's exploits are better left in the grave with him. her story is far to common.
