Please, if you want the pearl of great price you have to buy the entire field. It's not a situation where you choose either / or.

I honestly give you more credit than to think you honestly believe that what is outward doesn't affect holiness.
While I understand what you are saying, I don't believe outward modesty has anything to do with holiness. It's two separate issues that can be joined together, however, I know lots of people who dress modestly that don't have any more holiness than any of my cats.

I do believe that lack of modesty can indicate lack of holiness, but they are still separate issues.

The proof is given. You simply refuse to see it.
I see that your avatar is wearing a long sleeved shirt and a tie.

The administrator at my job, who is Catholic, also wears long sleeved shirts with a tie.

Please tell me how your dress is holy but his is not. Thanks.

Cats have dander, but so do humans.

There are also cats who lack dander, but they are still cats.

As noted I am basically a trinitarian... and by the way I don't read Rick Warren...

The point is for someone who loathes trinitarians, I find it funny he would reference the intellect and thoughts of one in his sermon... he uses the status, and credibility of Tertullian to give strength to his argument ...seems funny to me
