I thought in her initial post she gave good advice about women not dying their hair too dark.
One of my pet peeves is both women and men who dye their hair that fake looking jet black. It just screams "I am dyed!!!!"
My grandmother was an extremely conservative Pentecostal woman. She died in her late 90's around 1990. She was so conservative you did not even say the word "pregnant" around her. A woman was "with child".
Anyway she had genetics that caused her hair to stay black until she was in her 80's when she finally began to get some gray.
The little UPC church in her town she attended got a new preacher when she was in her late 70's or so and he just knew she was dying her hair so in a church made up 98% of little old grey haired ladies he started preaching hard just about every service about women dying their hair. Finally she could take it no more and started attending the next nearest UPC church in an even smaller town about 10 miles away.
I was at church camp the other night while a woman kept pointing out to me every 5 min who has dyed hair and who doesn't... I listened for a while and almost said "if their hair bothers you, why don't you go color your own". She is greying now that she is pushing 50 and I know she is taking it hard... however, I wish she would leave everyone else alone.
