If I could not trust my Pastor for my Devotions to God, I could not entrust him for my salvation in anyway..... if he is errant in one area, he may be in others. I trust him and I know what I feel in my heart. There is no problem in my mind to have these items declared, dissected, or discussed.

Brother, I believe the premise that someone's holiness can be judged by the clothes they are wearing to be very flawed. I believe the premise that a pastor has the right to dictate to people what they should or should not be wearing is also very flawed and an abuse of power. I do, however, believe in personal conviction and have no problem with people that keep dress standards because of personal convictions.
As for my doubts, it is in my nature to doubt anyone that wants me to follow them. Some people are willing to go along until it's proven the person they are following isn't worthy of being followed. I am of the mindset that you must first prove worthy of being followed before I start in your direction.
As for being faithful, I have never lost my faith in God. He never has, nor will He ever be, the issue. The issue is man.
