He was a leader who wouldn't lead without a woman aiding him. A woman place in that position by God, not by him.

Just because you are a man doesn't make you pastor material. We are ALL admonished to 'go out into all the world and PREACH the gospel'. That command wasn't just for men. That command wasn't just for the disciples. That command wasn't just for people living in the time of Jesus.
Some of you need to find out what the definition of 'preach' even is.

Re: Women Preachers
I want no stars or pats on the back...just to relate an experience...the Lord once spoke to me in a dream that a certain well known preacher was having an affair with a woman...the Lord in the dream spoke to me and gave me a scripture...I spoke to my husband about it and he said, I will take you to speak with him...to make a long story short...he confessed it to be true...another ocassion I was teaching a Bible lesson on Why we do not believe serpent seed doctrine in the middle of the class all of a sudden without warning I spoke out someone here tonight will die before noon tomorrow...needless to say we all fell to our knees in prayer....sure enough one of them died the next morning...just fell dead...

I've heard that theory stretched out even farther and that his "thorn in the flesh" was a nagging wife. I am not sure what the sources are for such an idea but have heard it more than once.
Of course it is probably the same "they" who claim that blacks are cursed because they are the descendents of Noah's son who "laughed at his nakedness".

You have to meet her the next time your here. She just left for work a few minutes ago, and I'm still LOOKING for work.
On that note, I started applying for an IT job that turned out to be with the US Navy. Luckily I realized (in time!) that the first part of the application was actually JOINING the Navy. . . . <whew>
In the navy
Yes, you can sail the seven seas
In the navy
Yes, you can put your mind at ease
In the navy
Come on now, people, make a stand
In the navy, in the navy
Can't you see we need a hand

Re: Women Preachers
Does the end justify the means? I have heard that many times...IF GOD said to Go into all the world I think He meant what He said.
I really don't like to write on things like this on forums because we do not know each other....however those that know me KNOW I don't look for spotlights and pulpit seats. I just believe that men and women should go everywhere preaching the word of the Lord. We live in a clueless world where like the days of long ago they do not know their right hand from their left hand. Taking Jesus to our lost world should be the desire of every born again christian. Never would I want to close a mouth that speaks truth.

Re: Women Preachers
But he who prophesies speaks . . . to men: In contrast to the gift of tongues, the gift of prophecy is directed to men. It is God speaking supernaturally (often “naturally supernaturally”) through people to people.
But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men: Not only is the gift of prophecy directed towards men, it is also largely positive in its character.
