Another common misconception. Most own TVs it is the cable anttenna connection that is the question - not TV.

Nothing is going to happen I doubt it very much. I would say there is something else in the works here we don't know about. And this is being used by either or both sides to give a reason to do whatever. It has been my observations looking at these type of situations for years most things are NOT as they seem.
