I was thinking about Donald's motivation in this. He can't seriously think he could be president. If they are rejecting Newt because of his past, Donald has a worst past. So, I can't see this as a political motivation on his part.

If Obama produced the evidence, he would just sit back and say - "Well, I did what I set out to do, force his hand", and then he would move on to some other venture.

However, if this is true - I want to know who set him up. Obama is the puppet of some scheme or it wouldn't have happened at all. It would have to be mighty powerful people to engineer such a thing.

I would have agreed with you last year, but this issue seems to be gaining some traction.

One thing that struck me as strange is when the Director of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, said that she had "personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."

She didn't ever say that she had seen the actual certificate, but that she has seen it was on record.

It being on record is as good as having the real thing... well almost... it's absence certainly isn't enough to say he wasn't born in Hawaii or to not allow him to run for president. (Which kind of makes me wonder what the birthers think they will gain by showing his long form isn't there)?
