How you figure? Over eating can and does more damage than one would like to admit. I know some people that are so severaly unhealthy that it is damaging their family and their life as a whole. While porn is extremely addictive I would be willing to bet that in America being addicted to food and being addicted porn are in close competition with each other. You disagree? Food is fuel for our bodies, the two aren't comparable as far as that goes. For those not ever involved in pornography, or been addicted to it, cannot speak of the damage it causes. Horrible self image, self degradation, self worth. Blurred lines of life. And so hard to walk away from. On both sides.

But there is HOPE, there is a better way, it can be overcome. Amen!

Like I said it they are similar not equal. Food is fuel for the body, but too much fuel and the body doesn't run correctly. The body has sexual needs needs that are in need of fueling too. They shouldn't be fed by porn because it is not a health version of sexual fulfillment similarly to how some food is not healthy for the proper fuel for the body. We don't like to see it that way cause "bless God it's food" but still the fact remains that neither are healthy.

What did this verse mean to the original audience? Easy on the proof-texting. The TV crowd love this verse, and use it entirely out of context. There are other scriptural lessons to use.

I think we can safely say that the writer of this psalm did not watch movies and did not watch porn on a computer.

One thing I forgot to add was that one doesn't have to have been tied up in porn or an unhealthy way of eating to know that they are bad for everyone. Do I watch porn, no. Do I eat fried food, no. It would, however, be my choice to do either or both. I choose neither.

Yeah, I still suffer from my choice of addiction. Nor food or porn.

Anything that someone becomes addicted to they are addicted from them on. Of course there are things like dry-drunks. But once an addict always an addict.
