His writings are an effort to make a lasting effect on Oneness Theology.
What would you think of a lumberjack that goes and buys a 12" electric chainsaw?
I think not much of a lumberjack.

That should make you pause.

Yeah if they are next door to me in Missouri... but I have swept chimneys in Europe for less money.

Re: Get your Degree Today
I guess the real question to ask is, "why do I want a degree?"
A. To say I have a degree ( Make me look good)
B.To get a better job
C.To learn something in a particular discipline.
As one having a lower degree, I will admit that I started out with the first two in mind (also the fact that I was trying to be able to have an educated discussion with my hubby was a factor ), but realized very quickly that I was learning something!
I am thankful for the EDUCATION that I recieved, I know something, and THAT is what I paid for.

I'd like DKB to tell us for himself rather than speculate

It's clear the quality of this U. is not on par, but I wanted to caution against the notion that DKB didn't take any classes. He didn't need to take classes from this U. but he most likely did need to submit to a study program and may have taken classes anywhere else.
Im just trying to show, for anyone that is interested, that this is not the same as the other issue *(LS) and that we don't know that DKB did not take any classes. Clearly he is educated, even in theology. The quality of his education I would not bet any amount is on par or better than what DS gained
|
I will clearly state this is not anything like the other issue with SEU.
But it certainly makes one wonder why?
Why shortcut?

Why is DKB off-limits for speculative questions?
I don't think anyone has made any personal attacks on him at this point.
I think there are some legit concerns about Pentecost in general on this subject. And yes, I'd love for DKB to speak to this. I think he would actually.

Re: Get your Degree Today
Has anyone found ANYTHING yet listing University of South Africa as substandard or worse a fraud or diploma mill?
(yes this was said earlier in the thread, though others won't go that far
http://apostolicfriendsforum.com/sho...3&postcount=46
http://apostolicfriendsforum.com/sho...4&postcount=60 )
What? One of the largest Universities in the world with "no classes", "sub-par academic", pennies on the dollar "institutions" and it did not get an exposé in Bears' Guide to Earning Degrees by Distance Learning??
I really don't know what the watchdog groups say about University of South Africa, but if it's a cover for the real thing, seems someone would have written extensively about just that.
I'm listening...

$1500 each for Masters and PhD....
$2500 and $3000 for nonresidents.
Really?
I paid half that much for my first year books in law school.

We don't know why DKB went there. If you want to speculate...that's your business.

Re: Get your Degree Today
While we wait I am going to watch INVICTUS - might get an idea of the living standards and the US dollar value in that economy.
