"HAMASHIACH Y'SHUA"
By Steve Israel
Based on Isaiah 53
(c)1993 Steve Israel Songs
All Rights Reserved
(Verse 1)
Like a lamb that was led to the slaughter,
He did not even open his mouth.
He was cut off from the land of the living.
For the sins of my people he was slain.
(Chorus)
Hamashiach Y'shua,
Messiah Jesus is Lord!
Hamashiach Y'shua,
The lamb of God we adore.
(Verse 2)
It was the will of his Father to crush him,
And take his life in place of our own.
But he arose from the dead and lives evermore.
Every knee shall bow before his throne.
(Chorus)
Hamashiach Y'shua,
Messiah Jesus is Lord!
Hamashiach Y'shua,
The lamb of God we adore.
(RealAudio version has instrumental soloing. MIDI version resumes here)
(Repeat Verse 1)
Like a lamb that was led to the slaughter,
He did not even open his mouth.
He was cut off from the land of the living.
For the sins of my people he was slain.
(Repeat Verse 2)
It was the will of his Father to crush him,
And take his life in place of our own.
But he arose from the dead and lives evermore.
Every knee shall bow before his throne.
(Chorus)
Hamashiach Y'shua,
Messiah Jesus is Lord!
Hamashiach Y'shua,
The lamb of God we adore.
(Repeat Chorus)
Hamashiach Y'shua,
Messiah Jesus is Lord!
Hamashiach Y'shua,
The lamb of God we adore.

Bump because it is inriguing and insightful.

If any thing has feminized the Churches it has been the doctrine of no beards and Women Pastors.

If anything is WRONG with the ACTS church it is the fact we have failed to go into all the world and preach the Gospel..Calvary needs to cry out in our ears ever day...tell the lost, tell the lost, tell the lost...

I agree that the first Church knew nothing of what we call today Women pastors but it did know women such as Holy Prisca that taught along with her husband the word of God. It did know about notable woman that shinned with the lory of God and gladly died in Nero´s arena´s. It did know about women that were called Abraham´s daughters and a Jesus that broke all the Talmudish laws and thoughts of His time and appreared to a woman and told HER to go tell the men that He had risen.
The whole gospel story depends on a woman and her words to men...Strange that men would be off in hiding and women would be slipping through the garden to find the lover of their souls...
I don´t buy that Branhamite thought about women...and no I pastor no church and have no ambition to do so. I am only a missionary whatever that may mean. I feel that Branamite spirit rules in many hearts that would have nothing to do with WB...but the hatred and dislike of women be used of God...I saw that spirit too close in my kin...

Michael whoever you are please be careful with your remarks and no I have nothing against men wearing beards...My husband asks our men not to but there is no Bible that I have ever found that would send a man to hell over a beard. At one time in our day it was a sign of rebellion in some places and among some world leaders.
I know Jewish men wore beards for the Bible gave them strict rules...I am not pushing and neither do I believe a woman should take authority over a man. But we must be very careful to understand if she is given authority she has no took authority..
gotta go for now...

Sister Alvear,

I am surprised at your reaction. I said what I said in regard to what Elias said. How you could take THAT to be a hateful remark about women I dont know.

Since you agree with me there are NO WOMEN PASTORS in scripture where are you getting this BRANHAMITE SPIRIT thing?

And as far as beards go if NOTHING is wrong with them why does your husband ask the Saints not to wear them?

And dont forget this is being said now because some are accusing others of "sissy worship". A term I am very opposed to and disagree with.

As far as preaching to the lost I stood at the busiest intersection of our county yesterday preaching and putting the name of Jesus in the faces of many souls.

Sis Alvear,

As "Mike" on the GNC and the NFCF I have told you of my admiration for you and your labor. You are an example of a true disciple of Yeshua the Messiah.

Interesting...

I have been a youth director for many years and at 44 years old I'm still a youth director. What I see is a problem with our GIRLS in the church more so than the boys.

Our world has "unisexed" everything to where even the most feminine girl is expected to participate in and/or at least enjoy sports.

Even the most feminine girl is criticized and laughed at if she wants to get all dressed up for just about anything other than prom or a wedding!

Girls that only hang with other girls and never want to hang with the boys (even at younger pre-teen ages) are thought to be weird and no fun.

Girls are expected, challenged and even dared to try to be just like the boys whether they have any interest in the activity/event or not.

Myself, I've always been a tom-boy type but I also have some female friends that have no tom-boy type interests whatsoever. Thats their right and their business and I respect that. But our world says differently. Our world is trying to make girls and boys to be the same in much more than just clothing. They are trying to make them think, act, have interest in all the same things, etc., whether they want to or not.

The church isn't much different. The leaders are primarily men with few exceptions like little kids sunday school. Some churches even have men over their ladies ministries! Bible lessons are mostly about men. He-man messages are preached even if the story may happen to include Esther! Activities are geared towards men. Girls either participate in what generally interests guys more so than girls or they sit on the sidelines bored. Guest speakers are dominantly men even when the group being spoken to is 80% female and eligible female speakers are available.

And now someone wants to say our songs are too feminine? Give me a break!

If anything is happening in our world AND in the church its the girls being made to feel that they must be MORE MASCULINE!

No wonder young girls hate the church, rebel and leave soon as they turn 18 (if not sooner!). They are given a list of do's and don'ts, are expected to participate in and enjoy everything the guys enjoy while making sure they don't violate their list of rules or their only other option is to sit around bored.

Give me a break! There needs to be BOTH male and female leadership in the church (and I don't mean just cooking, cleaning and nursery duty for the females!) to keep things BALANCED and NORMAL!

The world certainly isn't worried about BALANCE or NORMAL.

God said it wasn't good for man to be ALONE and He created woman! There are many reasons for this besides reproduction! Its called BALANCE!

God said one is not without the other. God said we are JOINT heirs TOGETHER...

Feminized churches? Maybe a few...but the OPPOSITE is by far the majority based on my observations.

I personally hate ladies meetings that consist of nothing more than a weak mamby pamby prayer, a few announcements, some discussion of funds needed, scheduling workers for church cleaning, nursery duty, etc., maybe a scripture reading, another prayer and then we are done. WOOOOHOOOOO big whoopie do! We had a ladies meeting! Isn't this exciting? NOT! No wonder our girls don't want to come! No wonder they easily fall into the unisex plans of the world. Afterall, even just watching the guys play football is more exciting than this!

I could say more but I've said enough. Climbin off my soapbox.

Mike, I think you misundestood my post. I am in no way saying that about you but as you know on forums some people go to extremes and sincere people are hurt.

Sometimes we mean no harm but people take our words and twist them around and use them to hurt and harm others.

Mike I too have deep respect for you and please forgive me if I expressed my self in the wrong way. I have stood over not a few but scores of families and tryed to pick up the peices of what serpant seed doctrine destroyed. I probably reacted due to certain circmstances very close at hand and destruction over the years...few people ever REALLY get loosed from that false doctrine. It follows them in another cape.

I am sorry...it was only a reaction to spiritual murders I have wittnessed and could do nothing about.

Please forgive me.
