I will go even futher why have anything on islam on this fourm at all..I really don't care but why have anything for islam on here if this is a Christian Fourm....Thats one thing on here that I have always thought was funny...
You had a chance to explain the discrepencies in the gospels Prax (some of them). Instead, I heard you or somebody say something like "we know about them. they spend (2) years in bible college teaching us those discrepencies". ????? @ 2 years? (laughing) I bet it does take (2) years. but anyway.
I never said that. Do they teach you in Islam to lie?
Quote:
I did not say you were Polytheist. I am sure, quite sure in fact, that I probably am not the only one ever who has had to note to you that not everything, everywhere, on the entire internet and universe orbits around you and your all-central planet.
You did hint that we are still following their doctrine
Quote:
I said the Polytheists at the Council removed some of what were, prior to 325 AD (you know, close to the time that Jesus, who the gospels were about, was actually alive) the gospels. Penalty of death for possession of the removed material.
Really? What did they remove? BTW did you come here to fight us unbelievers and impose a Jizya?
Quote:
My words: Had the Council in 325 AD not removed material from the Bible at that time, at the request of the polythiests
OK let's carefully review those words: Where is the reference to you in there? Why do those words orbit your planet? Were you alive in 325? So, if I was referring to something that happened in 325 AD, how can, even with the most narcissistic stretch of imagination, that possibly relate to you? Conclusion: That comment does not orbit "planet Prax". It says part of the gospels were removed in 325 AD. Thank you.
where YOU alive then? You asserted they changed the gospels, prove it
Quote:
Back to topic: Do you deny that there was a Canonical gospel of Barnabas removed by the Council in 325, banned from the Western Churches in 382?
Removed from what? Do you realize that there was never an official canon until around this time? what did they remove this gospel from? Have you read the book entirely? Or did you research why it is still rejected not just by Catholics but also Protestants? There were a LOT of extra writings that did not cut the mustard for being considered canon. It's not like they were being used by the entire church at this time. So there wasn't really a removal of anything. You act as though they had a completed bible and that in 325 they cut parts of it out. Nothing can be further from the truth
Quote:
In which Jesus was specifically quoted, as he said during his teaching of the Lord's prayer (in the remaining, unmatched gospels), that he was not to be called God, referred to as God, and that "God has no equal, no beginning, no end, no father, no mother, no sons, no brethren, no companions?" and "When God shall come to judge, my words like a sword shall pierce each one of them that believes me to be more than man?"
He also instructed his followers, as he did in the mismatched gospels, to pray to God, as he prayed to God himself?
and yet in none of the gospels do we find that sort of quote. It's interesting how much Islam parallels Gnosticism.
Im still waiting for the explanation of fighting against those that do not believe in Allah and imposing a special tax on them if they want to live unmolested.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I really do not feel the need to explain something you brought up prax. Feel free (laughing) The Quran and Bible are this for that in verses referring to putting people to death. I prefer to stick to the basics (prayer, fasting, deeds, and One God) and I'll leave the intolerance to the rest of you.
Yes but you expect us to explain or answer all your questions? BTW I noticed you quoted the OT a lot but you don't realize that the OT is not binding on Christians..when and were do those statements in the Quran become unbinding to such an enlightened fellow like yourself?
You speak of others being intolerant but your arrogant manner here displays just how intolerant you are

Personally I dont mind arragant. I can be too.... Just so long as the arrogant isnt planning my execution.
Im a lot more concerned about bleeding out than being accosted by an arrogant person.
seriously we arent talking about some difference in understanding about who God is. We are talking about the verifyable FACT that muslims beleive war and violence are honest methods of evangelism.
This is a tenant of their faith. It isnt something that 15 or 20 radical fellows believe, it is a codified and often used aspect of Islam.
they have words like Jihad that means Holy War and is practiced by all Muslims
and Fatuah (sp) which is a position paper written by any old claric who wants to write it that absolves an adhearant from any killing he can get sanctioned and it will hold up in an islamic court of law.
and Sharia which is the legal system in most Muslim countries. I know there are 2 or 3 muslim countries that have it but dont stone women for being unfortunate to have been raped but there are LOTS of Sharia countries where it is perfectly legal to stone your daughter if she got raped. Nice.
In America we are debating if gay people can marry same sex partners. In Egypt, you get arrested and killed for being gay.
Now I am against same sex marriage, but dont ya think its a bit harsh to arrest and kill a person for being gay?

evidently in islamic countries, they dont even bat an eye at killing a gay person.
it is like dems and repubs, they have different rules than we do, but we must be sensitive to them right up to the time they stick the knife in, i think not, dt

Good comparison. At least now you are focusing on home.
