Job 1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
Ecclesiastes 5:15 As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
Mark 14:51-52 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:
And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
John 21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
2 Corinthians 11:26-28 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;
In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
Seems Job not only was born naked but planned to die naked as well. =)
Nakedness seems to be a little more common place in the days of Jesus than we would like to think.
a) he was just pushing your buttons to see how much it would take to get a reaction
or
b) he is seriously not uncomfortable talking about what he's done in his past. I honestly think that there are people 'in the world' for whom something like this would be no big deal. It's just something they did. Maybe he needed some extra cash at the time? Maybe he saw it as a fun kind of challenge? Maybe he had some friends who dared him to do it? Who knows. But for whatever reason, he doesn't sound like it is something he is ashamed of.
The other thing I was thinking about when I was considering this question is that if someone who is not in church is talking with us and in the course of the conversation happens to bring up the fact that one day back when they were in college they got so drunk they threw up all over and couldn't remember how they got home, we just go, "Good thing you grew up, eh?". But if someone tells us they posed nude, we're uncomfortable around them after that.
Why is that? Why is one sin worse than another? They're not in GOD's eyes.
I'm not finding fault with you or your reaction, ILG. Just tossing this out for discussion
I guess because I got drunk and threw up lots of times, but I NEVER posed nude!! LOL!

The guy is just a sinner. To him it is no big deal. It is why he was so casual about it. I used to live in a place where people thought nothing of wearing tiny bikinis around the beach, and even the occasional man some weird kind of thong bottom. A simple drive out of the city and one saw way more than you needed to...
The average sinner doesn't have much of a problem with it, and if you get outside of North America many women/men think nothing of being topless at the beach or suntanning, etc.
You should thank God it bothered you. The Holy Ghost is alive and doing well! Just don't let it offend you. There is a BIG difference between that and being a bit shocked at sin....
Again, if it's wrong for Christians, should no one ever do it even for medical texts? That is something I don't know the answer to. I do know that even amongst people who are not Christians, posing nude is not necessarily acceptable without raising eyebrows.

I guess it's your opinion that God is "bothered" by things like this? Maybe because that's what the Holy Ghost has told you? If so, I guess we all have to agree. Who could disagree with God? (It only gets complicated when He tells different things to different people. Not that He ever would. )
Of course God is bothered with sin. Someone being publicly naked is sin, and its not rocket science to prove that Scripturally!
My point in the previous post was that this obviously bothered the poster... because it was something that was not right for them or the Holy Ghost. Which is why discussing it bothered them, because of the mental images that would have come to mind. This is the pureness of the Holy Ghost acting in someone's life.
It is my opinion, that the key to understanding the " previously nude poser" better is that to him it was not wrong. The reason he doesn't see it as wrong, is BECAUSE HE IS A SINNER. As for God, to Him it is all sin... public nudity, or lust in one's heart.... or gossip. Its all sin.... some are just more revealing than others.
