As far as those who would slam this as being against what the Tulsa crowd and others still in the mothership hold.

Generally it is ok to go out among the worldly and Trintarians and minister.

It is something altogether different to invite them to minister in your church such as KP among others have done.
Ok I will respond in the form of questions this time. Yes it is ok to minister to anyone. But IF this will be either a live or recorded for later broadcast by TBN is it controversial for a church with anti TV ministers to be a part of the production. I think so.

Nevertheless, I take my slap. I've already apologized to AK. We are making up now. Right, AK?
Wow,wow,wow-

That is quite an indictment indeed-

Please tell us who we have defamed? and what churches we have defamed?

That is quite a statement for you just to throw out there with nothing to back it up-

Perhaps you are not as new as posts reveal you to be-

Judge from ALL the facts, not just what it so quickly appears to you. Be slow to judgement. If they are touring with MM, or appearing with her on TBN or for a live television concert, then you have every right to point out the inconsistencies. I doubt this is a major MM event. She wouldn't ask this band, people she doesn't know, to play.
Wrong. She frequently uses area bands to play for her (even entire MM concerts) because they feel like celebrities to play for her and she doesn't pay them. It puts a whole lot more money in her pocket.
That part was my opinion. And for the record I meant asking people she doesn't know if this were to be a huge televised MM event. You seem to know more, so I'll trust your opinion on that one. Either way, it's a small detail.

Dan - I was wrong. Monday the 19th is MLK Day. Makes sense. That blogpost was Sunday the 18th.

Re: WPF Musician to Play for Trinitarian

Dan, I believe the info you found is not the event being discussed. The original blog post did say Mon., the 19th of Jan. What you have found is the largest AofG church and they have big productions for everything. The event being discussed is a political event honoring MLK.

I didn't think anyone had to back-up anything up on AFF. Isn't the the MO?

Let me see - defamation of every leader involved in WPF, leaders in UPCI, I've read posts of dozens of men of God be slandered here by people who, even by their own admission, have no clue. (Even this post for example!)

Oh so anyone can come on here and spout whatever they want without it being questioned? Perhaps you are new-because it doesn't work that way.

You still haven't backed up your claim, it's just a board brush you wish to paint AFF with.

We do take slandering preachers seriously, but members have to do their part and report the post-

Let's get something clear-

Our members can express their thoughts and feeling as freely as our guidelines allow---just because they do so does not mean they have the endorsement and affirmation of AFF.

This is a discussion board, if anyone brings anything to the board other board members are encouraged to either affirm what is being said or discount it--

Does not mean we promote anyone members views or thoughts-they are open for discussion.

By and large the thought was even pre Tampa that it is ok IF the TV time was not paid for, interviews and the such like were allowed.

It would be wrong for me to speak on behalf of those who left but it is my understanding from speaking to some intimately involved, "the church" paying for time, producing and broadcasting its own shows crossed the line and was not THE reason as much as THE last straw.

Everyone has to draw the line in the sand somewhere.

This just happened to be where these good brethren chose.

Thanks for your help Bro Epley-*rolling eyes* in sarcasm!

You know as well as I nothing gets away from this board without a fight.

I am speaking of AFF from an admin position, we do not defame churches or people or look to do that.

We try our best to curtail as best we can.

Jeanie,

I think he was questioning what you said - that wasn't help.
