Look, I don't care.
People get mad, Jesus got mad. We make mistakes and people say stuff that should be taken back. I don't take back what I say because I am a real person and I don't play games like that.
Which is worse, to attempt to accuse one of sinning and judging or getting mad?
You basically said I was mad and sinned. I don't see a scripture in the Bible stating anger or frustration is a sin, nor I do I see it describing calling someone actions a sin. I did call him a punk but when did that actually become a valid name to call someone?
The others were descriptions of actions not name calling.
Please back up take a breath and examine what you are doing before you act like that.

That isn't a game, gustav. That's called humility. If you're out of line, be big enough to say you're sorry and don't do it again.

1. I didn't accuse you of sinning.
2. You asked for scripture, and I provided it. "Be angry and sin not."

Alrighty then.

Back up? Take a breath? LOL!!! Are you under the impression that I am out of breath? Or even slightly bothered?
Of course I've lost my temper before. And I had to [wo]man up and apologize for it. Feeling anger is not a sin. It's how you act on it that matters.
But, hey, I've put in my 2 cents. You're not required to listen, are you? It's a free country. (But not necessarily a Free Forum)

Re: Witchcraft = medication
Where do the pharmaceutical companies go in search for new medicines? It's the Amazon, and places like that, correct? Who do they go to to find out what medicines these natives use and how they make them? The medicine men and witch doctors, correct? That's because the medicine men and witch doctors are the ones who treat these natives' illnesses, correct? Do you still want to insist that pharmacology doesn't have its roots in medicine men and witch doctors? You are only fooling yourselves because that is exactly where it came from.

Did you ever answer my question? I don't rightly recall...

Well, there are not many other places one could go to get the ingredients for medication, but once it is discovered they try to synthesize it.
No, they don't go to witch doctors and medicine men. They have to use the socratic method to practice and are highly scientific.
The methods are not parallel by any means. What you described sounds like some other planet.

Actually, yes I did. With the exception of concocting medicines, physicians are medicine men. I wouldn't call them witch doctors, but ya never know. I told Jediwill that if a nurse ever lights up some incense and starts chanting before she gives him a shot he needs to run like the wind!

So you don't believe there are any differences between medicine men who practice witchcraft and medicine men who practice medicine?

Of course, there are differences, Sister, and I never said there weren't. I was merely trying to point out where the study of pharmacology came from. It was others who took it to mean that I was saying they were into witchcraft. I never once said they were.
I still don't know why the translators decided to use witchcraft in that passage. I struggled for a long time with that scripture because of it, but I don't worry about it anymore. If I have a headache I take some Excedrin and don't think twice about it. I had a lung infection two winters back that caused me to go to the emergency room. They gave me some anti-biotics for it and it cleared the infection right up in about a week. I'm not against medicine, but I am not foolish enough to think the study of medicines came from anywhere than where it did, which is medicine men and witch doctors.
