I have pretty extensive and deep roots among conservative Apostolics, and while that could have been the case 50 years ago, I think that particular erroneous concept is extremely rare today.

You ABSOLUTELY will not hear Nate Wilson teaching that.

Again, I would not suspect a lot of people there would think like that.

Right. Gone too far down that road to go back now. We've seen and heard too much and now we have to address things head on.

Lol! I made that mistake when I first got in the church!

Have no idea where it came from except maybe Little House on the Prairie???

Thank the Lord a friend was close enough to me to talk about it and slapped some sense into me!

You could stand at the door and hand out "The Joy of Sex" as each couple entered. Think that would work for you?

I never personally ran into anyone who thought like this until the new (now ex) pastor came to town. A friend of my wifes got married just a few months after he came and attended his "marriage classes". A month or two later, she called up crying because her and her HUSBAND "gots to foolin around" and ended up "going all the way!" -exceptin it was a Sunday and you were forbidden to engage in such behavior on the Lords day. She was overflowing with guilt and shame.
How sad that HE (the pastor) would rend asunder what the Lord has joined at the alter!
