Between you and 20/20 it seems like there are a few crossed eyes in the bunch. People get resentful because they can't defend their motives then say consistency doesn't matter.

Consistency does matter because the Bible says a double minded man is unstable in everything they do. The lack of consistency of principle centered living as far as internet/tv is concerned is a sympton of larger spiritual problems. Denial, self righteousness, pride, arrogance, need I go further?

The Bible is a book filled with principle. Our responsibility is to follow principle not look for loopholes.

I have registered to this website for the sole purpose of posting a reply to this forum. I want to tell everyone about what happened to me, and the only reason I even knew that Apostolic Friends Forum exists. I have been trying to win my boss to the truth for some time. There have been a lot of frustrating moments, a lot of prayer, a lot of discussions. One day, we were talking and something was said about drug addiction and people coming to God and being delivered from their addiction. My mind instantly went to Bro. Larry Booker, whose testimony I have heard and read about. I told my friend and boss that I knew of a man that God had delivered and how God had brought him from the depths of drug addiction and sin to a position as minister in the kingdom of God. I was very excited because I felt like this would be an opportunity to point him to a personal testimony that would explain the awesome life-changing power of the Holy Ghost. I quickly Googled Larry Booker to email my boss his testimony and hopefully start a discussion about the infilling and transforming power of the Holy Ghost. Imagine my surprise and dismay to find displayed on my screen the following: STARTLING! LARRY BOOKER'S Latest Message!!! etc. Intrigued, I clicked on the link and came to this website. I could not believe what I was reading. Brothers and sisters in Christ attacking this man for his message and tearing down his credibility and position as an anointed minister of the Gospel. With a heavy heart, I realized there was no way I could point my friend to this great testimony of the grace and power of God. What if he also Googled Larry Booker? He would conclude that he was a crazed, insane, legalistic, stupid man screaming at his church about whatever issue he may choose. Shame on you, brothers and sisters. Whatever you may feel about Bro. Booker, he is a Holy-Ghost filled, anointed minister of the Gospel. We should never use our voice or our words to "touch the anointed". I hope you will read this and consider carefully what you type in the future that may tear down and destroy somebody's witness and testimony and hinder the work of the kingdom of God.

i do agree with you, i know larry booker personally, he is a man of word, he holds his standards. he is a true man of God and anyone who talks bad about any man of God should be ashamed, try and get his message- THE BEAN PATCH__it is thee most awesome message. and keep witnessing to that person, just do what is right,

if you cannot find it let me know, everyone should hear that message,
larry booker has got some fine books out there.

His credibility is shot. He ignores the perils of child pornography in HIS community while throwing a hissy about television. Why is it ok to have a few seminars at your church about dealing with questionable materials on the internet one week and turn around and say there is nothing good on television?

His integrity is questioned because of his involvement with the Tulsa Tango. His name is linked to an organization who obviously operated in less than honorable fashion with their marketing.

Sounds like oh-for- two in a couple areas members should rank high uon

Just about all I know about the Tulsa Tango, I read on this forum.

I still have confidence in Bro Booker.

Saul was after David trying to murder him. I'd say his credibility was shot as well. But David still wouldn't "touch the anointed". We better be careful when we set ourselves up as a judge of the ministry. God is big enough to handle that job.

AG, are you familiar with Bro. Ron Libby in Maryland? He's a great pastor, also has a tremendous testimony of deliverance from drugs.
