In Phil.2:4 Paul calls all apostles who were his co-workers, among whom was Luke, by this same word.[xv]
Paul later referred to this couple as his, “helpers in Christ Jesus… who have for my life laid down their own necks” ( Rom. 16:4). Paul probably wrote some of his Epistles from their home at Ephesus. Priscilla and Aquilla instructed Appolos, who was already “mighty in the scriptures” ( Acts 18:24), into a more excellent way.
Paul mentions the name of Priscilla (Prisca) before her husband, which was against the common practice of the time. (The King James Version actually reverses the Greek order by placing Aquilla before Priscilla, but in the Greek text Priscilla is the first noted, as also in Acts 18:26.) copied

Should be nuff said, but I suspect it isn't. Good job, Sister.

Re: Do You Believe In Women Preachers?
I suppose my leanings toward Complimentarians would shock some on here.
On AFF, this debate usually has one extremely upset man taking on 30 of us. Some of us going to the Word and interacting quite well. Others throwing emotional bombs, some posters taking it personal and defending their missionary record, and still others full of red herrings. I think the topic deserves more respect in the form of debate than it's had on here.

BTW: Do you sit on the same side of the church as any women, do you have a partition separating the sexes? That was the context of the verse you present, I notice he said "I"do not allow, never attributed that position to God.

I will withdraw the last part of my post, as it has been clearly pointed out that I misspoke. I will be more careful in the future, yet I still disagree with the arguments used to marginalize and limit womens' ability to be used in the work of the church. Paul very clearly praised the work of ladies in the ministry. ( Romans 16.3)

I fellowship with a LOT of complimentarians. NOne of them cite their reasons being women's limited ability, marginalize women or otherwise sound off with bigoted machismo.
