I came in on Arias' trial late, after she was already on the stand testifying in her defense. Do Judge's always talk to the Defendants and inform them they may or may not testify to their defense and let the Judge know what they choose to do?
Judge today had GZ stand and told him he didn't have to testify, but he could; that he should consult with his attorneys and she will ask him later what he chooses to do.
It just seemed heavy handed and odd. Granted, my opinion is biased against the Judge right now, with the fireworks last night and her conduct and bias for the Pros this entire trial.

Hopefully O'mara gives the closing argument; but if West gives it, I hope he doesn't use a knock knock joke...or any other joke for that matter.

Well I think it would be a bad idea to put george on the stand, the prosecution will twist him up and trick him even though he might be telling the truth..

Root says close-range gunshot by GZ doesn't show ill-will, hatred, spite toward TM.
Root says it's best to take general statement from shooter early, then give delay before detailed statement.

If this wit had contacted the Pros with a favorable opinion towards their case, GQ wouldn't have an issue with any of this -- the fees, the tv exposure, etc.
